My hours and responsibilities in my current position have been significantly reduced without explanation or warning, while other employees have been given more hours and opportunities. It should also be noted I located a company policy that states “It is the policy of the company to counsel employees when their performance falls below their standard of performance.”however I have received have no write ups, verbal warnings, any type of disciplinary action, nor have I received counselling of any form. I have also experienced favouritism, exclusion from leadership duties, and inconsistent treatment by management. I would like guidance on how to proceed to protect my rights and ensure I am able to resign under protest, file a constructive dismissal claim, and apply for Employment Insurance benefits.Hello, I currently work for a large corp and have been scheduled for more than 8 days in a row without a day off I did not actively request to do so and did not protest doing so. I also have evidence of a manager actively attempting to adjust the schedule so as not to reflect that I worked the shifts without day off. Just wondering if I have a case in litigation for compensation (other than hours worked of course).I was off work due to medical non work related for 8 days (6work days) with a doctor's note stating off effective immediately and a rtw date. 6 days in my HR insisted on functional abilities rtw form. This weighing down the medical community and trying to get in within days. Are they allowed to force me to return and get a form filled out?Can I receive a settlement for a reprisal termination even after I submit a claim to the ministry as long as the employer doesn't yet know that I've filed the claim?Contracted on a yearly 12 month term for 4 yrs then they switched it to a 6 month term notifying me about that change 2 months later into the last term without without any consultation with me. They said extension options maybe possible but I was notified 3 wks ago that they will not renew or extend it. I was with this same company almost 15 yrs prior when they did a mass layoff then too and I received a severance, but in this rehire they only gave me a contract option and now another mass layoff, and I was hit again but without any severance. Am I eligible for a severance with this new Employee Contract situation since they do take deduction (EI, Taxes, etc.) all off my paychecks. Previous Next Page 80 of 1630
