I only provide an availability of one four-ish hour shift a week as I have a fulltime job and it has been this way for many years. I get scheduled every day I'm available. I'm being told now I have to be available at least three days a week. The form we fill out with our availability says it is "recommended" we be available three days a week. I'm assuming I signed a contract or something when I was hired almost nine years ago, but I don't know what it says about availability. I've been given three options: increase my availability, move to a store closer to my home and increase my availability for them, or resign and reapply later if I can increase my availability. I just want things to stay as they are. Can they fire me? Pay me out? Move me to another store without me choosing to?I retired after 20 years with a major bank. I was base salary plus commission and was told that I do not get vacation pay because of the structure of my income. I had expected at least 3 weeks vacation pay. Do I have any options?Constructive dismissal question, newly appointed to high level roll, new CEO on or about same time, removal of entire team of 8+ HC and division under AoR with no notice and presented at company wide all staff, leaving team of 2 individual contributors and much less scope to role. Hello. How long does your employer have to send you your ROE. It has been over a month since terminate and of me asking them and getting no response.I work for a multibillion dollar company who’s name should be synonymous with payroll compliance. However it isn’t. My boss wants to pay me my extra hours OT owed (he always tells me he knows the kind of work I put in), he has been paying me out slowly, not all hours are being paid out in full because there’s just too many hours, and I’ve been OK with how he’s been paid out, but now my boss told me his boss told him to “limit” my hours being paid out, by doing this, my extra hours are being backlogged (since April 2025). I’m not the only employee in this position either. What are my option(s) as my boss doesn’t want to get fired for doing what’s legal and compliant and is the law, though his boss is telling him not to approve (limit) the hours being paid out to me. Another question, Is there any hidden unknown stipulation as to why unused vacation isn’t paid out that’s not used? I.e could the company “entrap” employees into agreeing we’ve read 100s of pages of a document online and could it be stated in that document that we forfeit any vacation from being paid out? When this is done, can’t find the document any longer (once we “agree to have read it”). Previous Next Page 86 of 1630
