When I sent in my most recent Dr.s note indicating I would be reviewed by a specific date, they sent a functional assessment form to be filled by my treating physician. They said it was to determine if employment was still viable for my return to work. However, my physician hasn't indicated a return to work date. Do I have to fill out the form? Are they trying to let me go through frustration of contract? And, would I be entitled to severance? I worked for them for 20 years prior to the LTD claim.I am on a Salary and Benefits Continuance. How aggressive should I be looking for a job? Will my former employer be checking on regularily? What proof do I need to provide if asked? My resignation was accepted, and the notice period extended to the end of February with agreed reduced tasks. My employers are now "proposing" that I use my accrued vacation and banked overtime hours for the remainder of my notice period. Do I have to comply with this?I was approved to work from home 4 days a week and go on site 1 day a week last December. Now they are asking for additional information, are they allowed to ask for this additional information? Can I ask them why they are requesting more documents to be filled out by my doctor now and why they didn’t ask for this initially? I was verbally threatened with physical violence by a coworker. The case was reviewed and the co-worker was found guilty but allowed to return to work. I'm uncomfortable working there and feel pressure to move on but this will affect my pension and I've worked there for 27 years. I feel I should be compensated by the employer. Do I have a case?
