My resignation was accepted, and the notice period extended to the end of February with agreed reduced tasks. My employers are now "proposing" that I use my accrued vacation and banked overtime hours for the remainder of my notice period. Do I have to comply with this?
No, you do not need to comply with this. They must pay out these amounts on top of your wages for that time period.
