I was asked to “Provide updated information relating to my restrictions and Limitations.”, If not resigning. My Question is am legally eligible to get severance pay or Frustration if I have received a settlement for my Future lost years of work?I have been with my employer for nearly 10 years. I was recently told that due to organizational changes, my current role is no longer aligned with my skills and would normally result in termination. However, I’ve been verbally offered a different role in another department, which appears to be materially different and not equivalent in scope. I have not received a written offer for the new role — only a job description and high-level compensation details. I was also told verbally that a severance package is available if I decline, but no details have been provided. Before responding, I want to understand: 1. Could this situation constitute constructive dismissal if the new role is not comparable? 2. Should I request full written details of both the new role and severance before making a decision? 3. Are there risks in declining the new role without a formal severance offer? What steps should I take to protect my position? Previous Next Page 37 of 1630
