I am also non unionized worker employed by one of the major banks. I've worked remotely for over 10 years. When i started working remotely, they made me sign a letter stating the bank could change my employment terms and revoke my remote status with min 60 days notice. However, i moved to anothet department about 8 years ago. I asked if i could still work remotely and they said yes. The pandemic hit and everyone was told to work from home. Now the bank said I must come in 4 days per week. Can they do this?
