I was charged with an offence. My employer says I have violated a company policy. I may get terminated even though it had nothing work related. They are demanding documentation of the event. Am I legally required to provide it?

If the charge is not work related, then you don't have to share specifics or documentation of the charge with the employer. Furthermore, it is illegal for a company to take actions against an employee based on a “record of offences”.
