30 year full-time employee forced to work part-time hours due to health & safety concerns. Even though given OK from doctor to work full shifts. Is that legal?

If your doctor has indicated that you are capable of returning to full time employment but your employer is refusing to let you work full time hours, that constitutes both discrimination and a constructive dismissal.
