I have been on WSIB for 72 months and am about to be locked in to age 65. I have 28 weeks vacation in my bank and no indication that my employer is going to terminate me. Should I be requesting payout of this vacation and severance/termination pay?

If you are not medically able to go back to work for the foreseeable future, this could constitute frustration of contract due to medical reasons and entitle you to both termination and severance pay.
