I've been working for a company for over 4 years I had a slip and fall accident on a poorly maintained parking lot in the winter and tore my shoulder I've been now off work for over a year and was recently approved for long-term disability my wsib case was closed after I argued with them for 9 months they did not help me whatsoever so I'm actually in the process of suing them. I just got an email from my employer stating in 13 days so not even proper notification that I am losing my benefits which I find odd because I'm using my benefits for my Physiotherapy and my medication for this accident that I'm waiting for my surgery date on to me this is not a wise move for a company that has an employee on a disability for a mistake made on the company's behalf. Are they allowed to do this? I am in Ontario
