I've worked for my marketing agency for a total of 7 years. On my 5th year I left for a better opportunity and was gone for about a 1 1/2 year. In rejoining my current employer I negotiated the terms of keeping my tenure. Currently we lost the business and now have receive a severance letter of only 1 week severance pay as given 5 weeks notice, vs the standard 2 weeks. Given that my tenure at the company is 7 years, should i not be entitled to more?
