I have been terminated verbally after I told my employer I was pregnant. He took the rest of the day after the call and ignored me and then sent an email telling me I was not terminated and expected to continue working. What do I do?

Hello,

If you have been terminated and your employer wants to rescind the termination, they need your consent, otherwise they would owe you severance and, in this case, potentially human rights damages.

If you do not consent to your employer rescinding the notice of termination, it is important that you reach out to one of our lawyers at Samfiru Tumarkin to help enforce your legal rights.
