Can I be sued if I was on a sick leave for mental stress and then didn't return back. I wrote an email informing them that im not returning . Can I be sued for not giving a 2 week notice?
This will be dependant on the wording of your contract. However, the employer would usually be required to demonstrate damages arising from your resignation - which is often difficult for an employer to demonstrate.
