I recently submitted my 2 weeks notice to my employer on June 26th and stated that my last day will be July 11th. I was told by my boss to not tell anyone about my resignation until he says so. On July 2nd, I received an email after work hours at 9PM from my boss that I am now terminated immediately and that July 2nd is my last day. I had no access to my work computer, emails. No access to follow up with colleagues and my clients to let them know I am no longer working at the company due to finding a new opportunity. I have now been receiving comments from employees that they are sorry I am no longer with the company, indicating that I was fired/let go. HR, my boss and the CMO have not answered any of my emails to address the reasoning for my immediate termination. It has been 48 hours since.
Am I entitled to pay up until July 11th, the original agreed upon resignation date? Are there any repercussions for the false statements indicating I was fired/let go?
