I submitted my 2 weeks notice to my employer and agreed on a resignation date July 11th. I was told not to communicate my resignation until further notice from my boss. After 3 days I receive an email from my boss at 9pm on July 2nd that my last day is July 2 and will be immediately terminated. I had no access to my emails, or my computer. My boss knew I wanted to say goodbye to colleagues and communicate to my clients that I am no longer working for the company. I have reached out to my boss, the CMO and HR to ask for clarity as to why I was terminated immediately and received no response. It has since been 48 hours. I am not receiving emails from my colleagues saying I'm sorry to hear that you're no longer at Nesto as they are under the impression I was fired / let go which is not the case.
Am I entitled to pay up until the agreed upon resignation date of July 11th? Are there any repercussions regarding the false information that I was fired/let go?
