I reported my employer to both the ministry of labour and CRA for misclassification well before I was let go. CRA still hasn't sent a ruling letter and I am in desperate need of EI. What can I do to get EI as soon as possible?

The CRA investigation may be a slow process and often there is little that can be done to expediate it. However in the event that they classify you as an employee you would likely qualify for retroactive E.I. payments.
