I know that I cannot receive a settlement if I quit my job. I have worked for many decades at the same company. I would like to retire - is it possible to somehow receive a settlement?

If you choose to leave your employment your employer does not have an obligation to negotiate a retirement package with you. While you may be able to approach your employer about retirement to discuss this, there can be implications if you indicate to your employer your intention to retire. I would recommend contacting us at the number below to get a more detailed analysis of your situation.
