I was put on a job search leave for 60 days and if I don’t find anything new at the same company I get laid off as of Jan. My severance is barely 8 months pay but I’ve been with the company for 9 years and making a $100k with all positive ratings and a great annual review every year. I am not entitled to more severance?

The amount of severance you are owed depends firstly on the terms of the contract.
