Hi, I've been off work since Jan 30-2025 and I won't be returning this calendar year. My question is what happens to my vacation days (I've 28 days) does the company pay me those days or do I lose them?
You will not lose your minimum vacation entitlements under the Employment Standards Act (ESA), but you may "lose" any vacation entitlements above the ESA, depending on the terms of your employment contract.
