i have been off work from federal government since aug 21.. my employer sent me a package and gave me a deadline of less than a month to make a choice of medical retirement, normal retirement, quitting , or return to work .. i have yet to see a back specialist (have had mris and awaiting specialist to know my options) i am in pain all the time but without having seen the specialist my dr has referred me to i dont know what to do .. im pretty messed up so assume my dr would fill out forms for medical retirement but im receiving insurance from sunlife and waiting for more info from them .. i told my manager that 3 hours notice of this document before a dr app is not ideal and leas than a month is also not ideal .. any thoughts on next steps ?
