Good morning,

I watch your show every Saturday and it has been instrumental and helping me with my own personal disability claim. I was just approved for long-term disability until I’m 65 years old, which is 2049 and I’m wondering how does it work with my employer, do I have to put in my resignation or am I entitled to severance? I greatly appreciate any advice you may have on this matter.

Thank you

Ambrose

Thank you for your question. If you have been deemed unable to work by a medical professional, you may not be entitled to severance as you are no longer able to perform the job you contracted for.
