Good afternoon, I worked for a BC company for almost 5 years, got terminated last week without any notice. Although the reason is claimed as organization restructure, I was assigned a lot of works recently that required overtime working in the whole weekend and extra hours in workday, resulting fatigue and partial hearing loss. Given my physical condition and age (almost 50 yo), do you think the 6 month pay in the severance package is fair? Do I need the review of severance package? Any suggestions for affordable lawyers? My background is technology. Due to the current layoff trend, I am not positive to find a similar job in 6 months. Much appreciated your feedback in advance!
