I was on disability leave for 5 years. Gradual return to work began in June, full-time hours began in Oct., 2025.
In January 2026, I was put on leave without pay
based on a “suggestion” in a psychological report which did not provide a reason.
My physician received a “medical version” of the report which stated only that I have social anxiety. How can they justify this? If I wasn’t doing well in my gradual return to work then they should provide help with adjusting (a lot had changed in 5 years). I am not social so work was the only life I had outside of home and I very much enjoyed my work before my disability Sending me home, without pay feel like a massive punishment with no explanation whatsoever. I’m devastated.
