I am 67 and work part time, on cal,l casual .
i have recently fallen ill and have applied for ei sickness benefits as my employer does not give such type of employees compensation when they are sick. nothing at all is compensated.
My employer keeps asking for a letter from my dr. I dont believe i am required to do so.
I would like for a lawyer to call or email me to clear this up with me, so that I can proceed with my employer
Thank you for your question. It is strongly recommended that you provide your employer with a letter from your doctor to advise that you will be away from work for a period of time. We will need additional information to properly assess your situation. Please contact us at the number below to schedule a formal consultation.
