Had a 6-month employment contract in Apr 2025, expiring in Oct 2025. Continued employment past that date, there was no further paperwork, no renewal letters etc. The HR system doesn't show any end dates anywhere. So the question is am I now a permanent employee or on some kind of contract of indefinite term? And what additional compensation am I entitled to IF I am terminated at the end of Apr 2026

If your written contract has expired and you continued working beyond that expiry date for the employer, you would be operating under a verbal indefinite employment agreement, entitling you to common law notice upon your termination of employment. Please reach out for a consultation if you would like to discuss your entitlements further.
