2 weeks in the new job, I got another offer for a position at another company that I’m more interested in doing. My current employment agreement states that I’d have to give 3 weeks notice for quitting but im still at technically training. Should I expect legal consequences should I expect when I quit upfront?

Thank you for your question.

Legal actions for wrongful resignation are rare, but you are always at risk if you give less than the contractually required notice of resignation period. If you are able to give three weeks' notice and negotiate a later start date with the new company that would certainly be advisable. The current company will likely (though not necessarily) waive that period anyway, especially if you are still in training.
