Add Comment Question: Hello, I currently work for a large corp and have been scheduled for more than 8 days in a row without a day off I did not actively request to do so and did not protest doing so. I also have evidence of a manager actively attempting to adjust the schedule so as not to reflect that I worked the shifts without day off. Just wondering if I have a case in litigation for compensation (other than hours worked of course). Answer: It is concerning to hear that your manager is manipulating your schedule in this manner; however, whether your employer was permitted to schedule you for more than 8 days in a row requires a further look at the terms and conditions of your employment, including your employment contract. We encourage you to contact us to set up a consultation with one of our employment lawyers, who can review your circumstances and ensure that your employment rights are being respected, and that your wages are being calculated correctly.
