Add Comment Question: I have been working for a company for 14 years. I was placed on sick time and long term disability for 2.5 years prior to returning to full duties. During this time I lost years of service therefore my seniority took a hit and impacts my job now when it comes to new position applications/vacation coverage etc. Anyone on a mat leave at my employer still acrue their years of service so why is it different for someone off on disability but still employed and paying into benefits ? Is this not discrimination against someone’s disability?
