Add Comment Question: I have been working with a publicly traded corporate company for over 2 years in sales role. However, my sales numbers are low and not meeting sales targets. I have been on a PIP for a few months now and I received a letter warning about my performance and if my sales numbers do not improve I can be at risk of termination. There is a section in the letter to sign that I received and understand the terms. If I sign can they fire me with cause and give me no severance? Answer: We would have to review the terms of the letter your employer is requesting that you sign, along with the terms of your PIP. Please contact our office for a consultation.
