Im currently on Long-Term disability with an expected return date in some time in early 2026. After Nov 30th, will I still be covered by the insurence for lo g term coverage or would that end on that date as well? If it ends, what are my options until I recover and can go back to work?Hi there the company did not use our written authorization so what we can do in this situation as they are doing for last 4 or 5 years. My employer force employees to submit their vacation during shutdown so can they say that employees put their vacation. So what we can do in this situation as many numbers of employees are affected. Can it be ground for lawsuit? Thank youOn temporary lay off. Employer says they will find a position within the company for me. Are they obligated to find a match to my old position with same salary, bonus, perks and benefits? Or am I to take what ever position they offer me.This is not a termination question but whether a change to the accrual vacation policy is legal. This applied to all DXC.com non-unionized Canadian employees. I am not a Union employee but there are Unions paid by DXC Technology (my employer). My employer DXC.com has informed all Canadian employees that our accrued vacation must be used by 31-Dec-2025 with only 5 days available for carry over with any days above 5 being lost with no payout then as of 1-Jan-2026 the new Flex Vacation Benefit commences (not accrual based) with a vacation allowance of no more that 10 workdays, followed by 20 workdays back before the next vacation request can be submitted. Any vacation greater than 10 will require permission from someone higher up in the company, i.e. not the immediate manager. This new flex vacation policy is based on the minimum Provincial statutory compliance of Ontario being 3 weeks after 5 yrs. I have 25 years of service and accrue 6 weeks per year. My question is, is this change legal? (I spoke to Victoria and she provided me with this link).Hi there, I wrote question before about using vacation for company shutdown time and i did get an answer and thank you for that. However i would like to clarify is that the shutdown is not a week its only 4 days and it does say anything about that in our job offer. Because all the employees are affected by using our own vacation time forcefully otherwise we would get disciplined for that. So can it be basis for a lawsuit?. Thank you Previous Next Page 72 of 1630
