Then informed the staff we would have to use our personal vacation pay. I feel this is a bullying tactic. They have closed their two processing locations for two weeks for Christmas but this is the first time they have closed the HO. Is this considered an ethical situation or one we could go back to them and justify not using our accrued vacation time. Thank you for your input.I audio recorded office manager and human resource representative speaking poorly of me while I left the office and set my personal phone to record conversation and I did this for proof as I was having anxiety about what I believed was happening and creating a hostile workplace environment. The owner would have never believed me otherwise. I’m worried this is illegal. I have to return to work this week to discuss only because our internal surveillance cameras are audio apparently were unintelligible according to the owner.I have been asked to forward these questions to you by your ltd department as it is related to workplace as well. I have been off work for almost 3 years (2&1/2 years on ltd benefit payments). At this point, if my workplace decides not to take me back or after returning back decides on a termination, does it in any way affect my full severance entitlement (in either case)? According to your calculator, I am currently eligible for the 24 months. Also, could this also be a human rights violation and entitle me to even greater than this? Although my understanding is that the definition can change after 24 months, does it in any way affect my full severance entitlement at this time?I've provided a doctors letter advising I work from home full time due to a chronic condition which is affecting me more due to a lot of stressors at work. My employer wants my doctor to also fill out an assessment form asking for more details. Am I obligated to get another form from my doctor?Hello my employer admits to recording audio in addition to video at my workplace (we have never been given any policy in regards to video or audio recording written or verbal) but insists they do no listen to the audio when watching the video. Recently management has brought up something said between 2 employees well after management has gone for the day, they claim to know what was said by lipreading the employees . Is there anything we can do to stop this invasion of our privacy? Our union seem unwilling to address the issue at all. thank you Previous Next Page 60 of 1630
