I was accused of bullying and threatened with job loss because I need my job to finish school. I recorded all conversations with them. Can I use the recordings as evidence if I file a case for defamation of character? I am also considering filing a complaint for harassment. If I lose my job without my fault what will happen does company pay severance and how much would be the pay I receive payment of 22.5 per hourWas working for employer in the office prior to Covid 5 days a week. Sent home during Covid to work exclusively from home. In the spring of 2023 was told now that Covid is over had to return to the office 1 day a week and work the other 4 days from home. Company has just informed me I now have to come back into the office 3 days a week instead of 1 day. There is nothing in my contract referring to work location. After working only 1 day a week in the office for the past two years, do I now have to return to the office 3 days a week, or can I consider this change to the terms of my employment a constructive dismissal? Thanks. After being misclasified intentionally and maliciously for months I confronted my employer threatening to report them and they responded by putting me on an unpaid suspension. Would reprisal damages be significant compared to my severance package if I were to claim a constructive dismissal. ThanksGood morning: There is no HR here, no job descriptions, no performance review process. Out of the blue I received an email from my manager's manager advising me the Leadership completed a company wide salary review. I was told that I need to improve performance so my goals to align with Leadership goals therefore, no change to my compensation. I asked for evidence and examples and a plan to review my performance. Five days later I was told "We will review to discuss in greater detail with you in the next weeks". I am a 35+ year professional. I've been told my performance needs to improve, not told how or where or given examples. Can the employer just say, we need to see improvements, no raise and no opportunity to respond or defend or improve? I am very anxious and not comfortable in this environment. Any assistance would be appreciated. Previous Next Page 113 of 1631
