After my termination, I found out my employer failed the harassment investigation by missing my form complaint letter. a lot of other employee got laid off because the budget cut. Is there a reason to ask more severance pay? If I ask a lawyer to write a demand letter? Will I have chance to loose my entire severance pay?

My name is David Vaughan and I am an employment lawyer with Samfiru Tumarkin. To determine whether the severance package you were offered is fair, please visit the Severance Calculator (https://www.severancepaycalculator.com/online-severance-calculator/). Generally speaking, writing a demand letter will not result in the employer revoking the severance package they initially offered. Finally, if the employer failed to properly investigate allegations of harassment and/or your employment was terminated due to submitting a harassment complaint, this could entitle you to damages in addition to severance. Please contact our firm to discuss the matter in more detail.
