I recently submitted an application and it asked me the following question: Have you ever been terminated from a position for any reason other than a conviction for which you have subsequently been granted a
pardon?. I am not sure what this means so I put No, but in 2012 I was let go by my company without cause so my question is this, did I put the right answer down?

Thank you for your question. Many employers ask and/or look to a criminal record to see if there are charges or convictions related to what you will be doing in your potential job opportunity. Assuming your 2012 without cause termination was not related to a charge and/or conviction, you answered the question correctly.
