I am about to sign a contract with a new employer. they mention their right to do temporary layoffs. verbally they mentioned it won't affect your situation since we can provide you jobs from other branches which we have tons of ongoing jobs there. I wonder if I can take those words in a written email would put me on a better situation for possible layoff or not? They don't remove that item from contract
