I received an email that my position is no longer available, however I was told verbally that it will be in effect mid June. Does the notice of termination i rec'd allow me to leave now or will it be considered a resignation if I don't wait until the end of the term that they have specified verbally?

It's a resignation if you leave before the announced last day in June which means that you will receive only earnings up to your resignation.

It's possible that you are owed amounts in addition to the working notice so I encourage you to contact us at the number below to discuss your entitlements and the best way to pursue them based on your situation.
