I was hired as contract employee for a 15 month maternity leave. Was told yesterday that my contract was terminated yesterday after 6 months. Reason was that "It was not working out". My boss did not provide any indication prior to this of any performance issue. I also wanted to add that I went through a personal matter where my brother passed away and after i returned this happened. They offered 1 week severance. Please help. Thx
