Hi I have heard that severance is really low if it's a frustration of contract no matter how many years tou are with your employer. My work is saying 10k even though I have been with them since 2007. I haven't actually gotten that final letter as the fee demanding me to be at 100 percent back at full time and duties by the end of June. I am still recovering from a second surgery I had at the end of April. Is this a scare tatic or does the frustration of contract severance bare minimum?

Please call us to discuss the specifics of your situation. You may not be entitled to any severance if the employment is genuinely frustrated due to medical reasons, but the legal test for frustration is strict and hard to meet by the employer. We can't give you legal advice about your entitlements without learning more about your situation so don't hesitate to reach out to us at the number below to book a phone appointment with us.
