Good day,

I work full time and haven't been impacted by Covid 19 with regards to the current situation. However, I do have a 2nd job where I have worked since 2012 where I have been temporarily laid off in March. This 2nd job represents 20% of my income which is substantial and I have no idea when I will be called back. I work as a Hockey League convenor for a city run organization and due to social distancing, our Teams and Leagues obviously can't restart the league similar to the NHL or NBA. We may be called back at the end of May but there is no guarantee. Based on the fact that I rely on that 23% income, can I apply for the CERB or another government program as a result of this lost income if our Summer Season and Fall Seasons are totally cancelled. Please let me know what possibilities there are, as I have looked online for information on the 2nd job temporary loss.
Please let me know what I am eligible for and what program I am able to apply for.

Thank you!

Thank you for your question. Based on the current criteria established by the government, it does not appear that you are entitled to CERB benefits (because you are still earning income).
