I am an executive in a company and have been with this company for 37 years. Two weeks ago I put in a formal complaint to HR and my boss that I was being publically humiliated and intimidated by my boss. I advised at that time that I would not be attending a scheduled business trip with my boss due to fears of further intimidation and humiliation. Can I refuse to attend and if I do not attend would that be grounds for termination with cause?
