Can my employer terminate me if i choose not to get the COVID vaccine

If you have medical or religious reasons for not being vaccinated, your employer cannot terminate your employment - that would be discrimination under provincial human rights legislation. However, if the reason for refusing the vaccine is not for medical or religious reasons, your employer could potentially choose to push it as far as termination. In that case, you would still be owed severance, mostly likely based upon your age, position and years of service.
